I’m Sarah-Lynn Clerckx. I’m a 25-year-old Belgian actress with nearly 20 years of experience in film and television. I began my career playing Louise Van den Bossche on the long-running series Familie, a role I held for over a decade. Since then, I’ve appeared in projects such as Loezers, Ik U Ook, and FOMO, working consistently across genres and formats. I trained in Acting for Film at the Prague Film School, where I also gained valuable experience behind the camera as an assistant director, script supervisor, and even director. I continued my studies at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, focusing on Acting for Theatre, Film, and Television. Beyond acting, I have a strong background in both dance and music. I studied ballet for 10 years, followed by jazz and hip-hop, and I’ve performed in numerous musicals, and as the lead singer in a cover band, with one of our recordings even making it onto the radio. I approach every role with professionalism, curiosity, and a deep commitment to truthful storytelling. I love working collaboratively and bring both technical training and emotional instinct to every set I step onto

My Experiences

ACTOR (2022 - 2022)

Role: Billie

Film
Borgerhoff & Lamberigts - FOMO

In FOMO (2022), I portrayed Billie, one of ten influencers picked to take part in a high-stakes reality experiment set deep in the forest. At first, it's framed as an exciting journey of digital fame and camaraderie—but it soon reveals to be a setup by a psychotic family out to kill all of us. Billie was one of the more popular influencers, which made her a more arrogant and self-absorbed girl.

ACTOR (2020 - 2020)

Role: Mel pannecoucke

Television
Ketnet - Ik U Ook

In Ik U Ook (Ketnet), I played Mel Pannecoucke — the playful, headstrong niece in a quirky family reconnecting during lockdown. Together with Mel's brother Cas (Bas Van Weert), I was part of one of the “bubble” households in this warm, light-hearted sitcom. The show was filmed entirely COVID-safe, which gave us a unique sense of closeness and creative freedom as a cast, as we had to film everything ourselves. Mel brings humor, spontaneity, and a relatable spark to every scene — a character I loved bringing to life.

ACTOR (2018 - 2018)

Role: Aurum

Television
Kenet - Nachtwacht

In Nachtwacht (Season 4, Episode 2: “De vloek,” 2018), I took on the role of Aurum, a complex young woman cursed with a Midas-like affliction: everything she touches turns to gold Aurum arrives in the mystical town of Schemermeer seeking help from the Nachtwacht. Throughout the episode, I conveyed her deep remorse and fragility—she’s apologetic, haunted by her centuries‑old curse, and desperate to reclaim human connection despite the destructive power within her .

ACTOR (2018 - 2018)

Role: The ex

Film
HET GROOTSTE (der dingen)

“Het Grootste der Dingen” (The Greatest of Things) is a magical realist short film exploring the absurd nature of the human heart. I was part of this emotionally charged narrative about a troubled young man drawn again and again into a relationship -with my character- doomed to fail, driven by mystical forces beyond his understanding. Each attempt to rekindle the flame with his ex pulls him deeper into despair, slowly hollowing him out. As he tries to resist these invisible forces, it becomes clear that the only true escape lies within himself. The film is a poetic and haunting reflection on obsession, emotional entrapment, and the quiet power of letting go.

SINGER (2017 - 2019)

ACTOR (2017 - 2019)

Role: Eva

Television
REGELET - Loezers

In Loezers, I portrayed Eva – one of the central characters in a series about five teenagers sharing a home in Brussels. Eva navigates the complexities of young adult life: friendship dynamics, romantic flutters, and the pressure of finding her own identity in an ever‑changing world. The series balances drama, humor, and the everyday challenges of urban youth, and I loved bringing Eva's quirky but honest reactions to life.
