Luzie Kurth is a German actress and audio drama artist, born in Cologne and based in Brussels and Berlin. Shaped by multiple languages and cultural traditions, she brings a distinctly European sensibility to her work. She made her screen debut at the age of six in Helmut Förnbacher's feature film "Tausendmal berührt" (2004). Roles across some of Germany's best-known television formats followed, including the crime series "Tatort", "SOKO Köln", and "Kommissar LaBréa". Most recently, she appeared in the WDR series "Naked" (2025). Alongside her screen work, Luzie has built an extensive career as a voice actress. Since 2006, she has voiced a wide range of roles for public broadcasters — from beloved children's classics such as Otfried Preußler's "Die kleine Hexe", to literary adaptations of works by Elfriede Jelinek, Ken Follett, and Honoré de Balzac. At the core of her work is a finely tuned ear for language — a quality that runs equally through her screen and audio work. She speaks fluent German, French, and English, and has a working knowledge of Spanish and Dutch.
