Esteban Balbi

Actor
I am Esteban Balbi Pott, and my roots are a mix of Italian, English, and Spanish. I was born in Mendoza, Argentina. From a very young age, I felt a deep attraction to acting and the idea of stepping into someone else's shoes. At 23, I decided to take it seriously and began my acting training. I took an acting workshop with Ernesto Suárez, a course on acting in front of the camera with Flavia Reta, and a workshop on overcoming the fear of public speaking with Alicia Gilabert, among others. In 2008, I moved to Barcelona, where I studied stage and film acting at UACE. Later, I participated in a master’s program in the Stanislavsky method at the Academy of Arts in Minsk, Belarus, and another master’s program in film acting at the First Team Foundation. To this day, I continue to improve my skills through various courses and workshops. My career in theater, film, and television has allowed me to develop professionally in both Europe and America. I have had the opportunity to participate in theater productions such as "Maribel y la extraña familia", "Error 404", "Un cine arde y diez personas arden", and "Athan y el camino a la inmortalidad", among others. I have also acted in short films like "Mivida", "Tenemos Visita", "Second", "Tiempo", and "Un regalo para mí", and in TV series such as "La que se avecina", "Robles y Olmos", and "Próxima Estación". As for feature films, I have been part of productions like "Os Reviento", "El año de la Furia", "Deja la luz prendida", "Una función para olvidar", "San Felices", and "Vino para robar", all of which have received excellent feedback from both audiences and critics at various national and international festivals. Additionally, I have studied film, video, and TV direction and production, fields in which I am taking my first steps. This additional training has given me a broader perspective and a deeper understanding of the actor's role in front of the camera.
