Céline Timmerman (Ostend, 1990) is a director and actress. Her artistic work is situated within performance, physical theater and visual art. Characteristic of Céline's work is dark humor, delicate slowness and a preference for wool. Céline graduated in 2012 as a teacher in the visual arts at the Hogeschool Gent. She continued her studies as a script writer, directer, and actress at the Maastricht Theater Academy where she graduated in 2016 with the performance "Bodemloos". This performance played in GC Nekkersdal (Brussels), CAMPO (Ghent) and Het Entrepot (Bruges). Her second performance Buidelwolf/ POUCH played at the Fringe Festival in Amsterdam, among others. As an actress, she played her first role in 2012 in Kate Maveau's short film She me, which won numerous prizes, after which she caught on in various short films. Céline played guest roles in the TV series Cordon, De Ridder, Bevergem and Lisa.
