Hi! My name’s Cecilia. I am a Belgian-Greek actor. My journey in this craft started when I attended part time art education at the academy of performing arts in Overijse, where I took drama, theatre, fiction, script analysis, music and piano lessons. At the academy, the last three years of acting focused on Meisner technique, and it is the technique I use to this day. Nowadays, after quitting occupational therapy and fully committing to professional acting, I am busy building skills every day: lessons in acting and directing, singing, stagefighting… My approach to acting is like playing the piano. Technique is essential. The script provides the notes, much like sheet music, but the real magic lies in the interpretation. It's the rhythm, the cadence, the passion infused into each note that colours the story being told. When I act I long to transform words on a page into a living, breathing narrative.
